Approval procedure

For all clinical research that is carried out with Maastricht UMC+ acting as sponsor, or with the Maastricht UMC+ as a participating center, local permission from the Board of Directors of the Maastricht UMC+ must be obtained prior to the start of the study. This permission is granted after a number of assessments have been passed successfully. CTCM coordinates the local approval procedure on behalf of the Board of Directors and carries out some of these assessments itself.
